ART

I have been learning to put the pieces together for my art and making them the right size and shape for a mask. There are so many colours  vilot(violet) blue, raspberry pink, butter yellow, chocolate brown and skin and I had to mix and make them all. 

My initials are on my mask R and K. I have a hart because I love lots of things and my favrite (favourite) colouers(colours) are pink and blue.

I am proud of my art because of how it looks and me working quitly(quietly) by myself and solving my problems.

My Hoilday

"Wow what a beautiful site," I said. While we drove to Taupo my 3 year old puppy was lying on top of my lap.'Are we there yet?' I asked. "No we are not there yet Rosie' mum said 'Only 30 minutes to go''Yay ' I exclaimed. Finally we are here now we drop Milly off at a farm and hopped into the car and drove off to our hotel in Taupo for 1 night. Feeling exited when I woke because we were off to Auckland . I had a spa bath and got dressed and hoped in the car and drove off. After stopping in Matamata for lunch we drove on the motorway to get to our hotel in Auckland - the Jet Park Hotel.

The next morning we got up really early and boarded our plane for Australia. Arriving in Australia, my family and I went and picked up our suitcases and our 2 cars and put our luggage in the cars and drove to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. When we got inside I could see a waterfall and a Lizard scurrying into the garden. Next we all stepped onto the train which took us to green patch station where the animal hospital was, a free flight bird show and shearing sheep show. The 2nd stop was wild burger cafe. The next day we went to Movie world. We saw a 4d movie was playing which was about road runner - the seats jolted and water was sprayed in our face during the movie. Dad and I went on the Road Runner Roller Coaster it was quite scary when it tilted on my side. When it stopped  I wanted to go again so the lady

let us stay on. Another day we visited Sea world where I got out of my comfit (comfort) zone and went fling (flying) in a helicopter with my dad for half an hour which was exiting. 

We had an amazing time in Australia together.  

Writing

I am proud of my writing because I have lots of detail and I have never written so much before.

Squelch squash as the sand pushes up threw my sore toes.I glance at my feet a fire red crab is climbing up them, ’’Owch’’ the feisty crab bit me with its nippers they were 30 cm long. My leg started to bleed, I shook my leg and the crab went flying back into the sea.I walked to the edge of the island and knelt down to scoop some salt water on my leg to wash away all the blood. After I washed away the blood I quickly walked into the jungle and found some coconuts in the middle of the jungle hanging down from the branches of the coconut tree.I looked around and sore a flax boshe and made a flax basket and then climbed the tree using my hands to poll myself up where some coconuts were and twisted the coconuts until they came off and I chucked  them into the basket on the ground.

Now I am going to tell you how I got to Jungle Island...  

It was a really rough night in the deep ocean and we were in the our vessel The Mary Celeste was bobbing up and down with the mighty waves when suddenly I felt the ship tipping over and cold salt water was flowing into the ship and the crew and I were tipping over as wall as the ship.Then we all tumbled into the water I could not see my crew because the waves were too high but I could see our ship sinking to the bottom and hearing blob blob blob as The Mary Celeste went down down down I was being pushed by the massive wave and my head was going up and down and I could taste disgusting salt in my mouth .I spotted a piece of driftwood drifting towards me so I reached out with my tiered ames and grabbed it pulling it to me and hauled myself onto it.I looked up and saw trees in the distins so I paddled and kicked like crazy. After 2 hours  of kicking like crazy I could finally touch the sand as I crould to the island.

Searching in my pockets finding a soaking wet notebook I put it on the hot sand for it to dry once it was dry I wrote a note and put it inside a bottle and walked to the edge of the island.I throw it into the clear blue sea hoping someone will find it. I

Dogs and Puppies

I am really proud of how well I have done so far with my writing and how much information I have in my presentation.I love all types of dogs but my favourite dog is a Labrador. I have a puppy of my own and I learn a lot from her and her name is Milly.I have used a lot of pictures in my presentation and I have tried to make them all different. Something I learnt was putting my information under sub-headings.

I am really proud with my art because I worked really hard on it and I think it looks really good. I had success in my background because I found it really easy. The biggest challenge I had was doing all the patterns I found it really hard because I had to try and get all the patterns right and couldn’t do any mistakes. So those were mainly all my challenges and success. I hope you like my art because I spent a really long time on it.

Mr Gifkins AKA Mr G

Mr G is not your normal principal, he is one of the most cheerful principals you’d ever meet. Come on down to Parkvale School and you will be in for a treat. If you see Mr G walking down any path at our school, he’ll make you feel welcome.

CAMERON BUDGE

Cameron Budge is my drumming teacher.When I go for my lesson he walks around the room (lounge) and teaches me what to do. He has been drumming since he was 9 years old and has a wife and two sons.He loves to play the drums he is very cool and he is really understanding.He loves drumming like I do.

He is always kind and nice and he is letting me call him want ever I want so I’m calling him Cam.Tomorrow was my drumming lesson but he has gone away for a holiday so I have him next week.

He is helpful and friendly.He picks up the drumsticks he also has his own drum kit as well. We both have a duet together on the 2nd of December 2015 in the cabana.

He is the best drummer teacher I have ever had.

MATHS T4 W4

 I am blogging this because...I have put my personal best in to it.

We were learning about...how much things wade like leaves and water.

Hi, this was our maths task we had to do.

We had to go outside and get some leaves or other thing to fill it.

There are 102 leaves in there. It took 1 minute to fill up the jar.

We couldn’t work out how heavy it was. It felt the same so they must be light.

this is our maths task we had to do.

this jar can carry 4/4 of a cup to fill the whole.
